Position-A-Strategies combines legendary basketball coach John Wooden’s fundamentals philosophy with Ben Hogan’s golf philosophy and also adds Sun Tzu’s concepts into the mix (Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat).
Wooden’s UCLA teams practiced basketball fundamentals incessantly because he believed that building a solid foundation for the game meant that anything built on that foundation would be strong when put to the test in an actual game – particularly when there was a tremendous amount of pressure.
Ben Hogan never hit a golf ball thinking about where that ball would end up. Rather, he thought about where he wanted the ball to be for his next shot.
Position-A-Strategies combines these two powerful processes – Strategic Thinking + Solid Fundamental Tactics – into a communications tools that has provided our clients with successful outcomes for more than thirty-five years.
